• Lawyer profiles: Professional details including SLBA enrolment number, qualifications, practice areas, office address, consultation fee, and profile photo.

• Contact form: Any information you submit when contacting our support team.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: Pages visited, search queries, time spent on the Platform.
• Device information: Browser type, operating system, IP address.
• Cookies: We use essential session cookies for authentication. See Section 5 for details.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account on the Platform.
• To connect clients with lawyers by forwarding inquiry messages.
• To verify lawyer credentials against the Sri Lanka Bar Association register.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, inquiry notifications, password resets).
• To improve the Platform through anonymised usage analytics.
• To comply with legal obligations under Sri Lankan law.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, use it for behavioural advertising, or share it beyond what is described in this Policy.

• With lawyers you contact: When you send an inquiry, your name, email, phone number and message are shared with the specific lawyer you contacted.
• Lawyer public profiles: Lawyer profile information (name, photo, practice areas, location, bio, fee) is publicly visible. Email and direct phone numbers are not shown publicly.
• Service providers: We use trusted third-party services for hosting (server infrastructure) and email delivery. These providers process data only on our instructions.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by Sri Lankan law, a court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of our users.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal compliance purposes.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may prevent you from logging in to the Platform.

6. Your Rights
